Just to review today’s PM Boris Johnson’s alert system for Coronavirus.
10th of May 2020, 7pm
"we have a plan but it's a conditional plan."
advice is now for people to 'stay alert' in England.
STEP 1
work
Anyone who can’t work from home ‘activity encouraged’ to go to work from tomorrow.(11/5)
But try not to use public transports.
Exercise
Unlimited amount of outdoor exercise from Wednesday.(13/5)
Only with the members of same household.
STEP 2
schools and shops
June 1st earliest, phased re-opening of primary schools.
In stages, beginning with reception, year 1 to year 6.
Shops are also maybe starting to re-open.
STEP 3
<at the earliest by July and subject to all these conditions, and further scientific advice, if and only if, the numbers to supported, we will hope to reopen at least some of the hospitality industry and other public places provided they are safe and enforce public social distancing.>
Hospitality
July earliest some re-opening.
Travel
Quarantine for everyone arriving in the UK by air.
My thoughts...
For me as a chef, working hospitality industry, but yet luckily have a place to work in this situation( my restaurant does take away), nothing seems to be changed with this statement.
I just need to carry on what I am doing now obeying with the rules on social distancing.
Will see the details he will be addressing next week.
